Alison Lederman

Alison is Managing Director and Founder of Blue Lane Advisory LLC, where she focuses on strategic projects across the firm, with an emphasis on business operations and management, as well as talent development and executive search.

A seasoned art professional, Alison spent almost a decade at Christie’s in various selling departments, including Impressionist & Modern Art, Prints & Multiples, Design, Photographs, and Jewelry. In 2018, Alison joined Art, Agency Partners, a leading art advisory firm and subsidiary of Sotheby’s Inc, where she held a business management role focusing on private client art advisory and artist estate work. In Alison’s most recent role with Sotheby’s, she led global business management for Private Sales, a growth sales channel for the firm, achieving over $1B in sales in 2021.

Prior to founding Blue Lane Advisory, Alison spent 2.5 years with True Search, a retained Executive Search firm, where she worked with clients in the arts, luxury, and culture industries to build their leadership teams.

Alison attended Lehigh University and earned a bachelor’s degree in business and art history.
